I am I the only one who hates all this cloak and dagger stuff when it comes to announcing signings! Just announce them when they are ready to be announced!!!
I guess that moat supporters can wait a day to be told about a new player.
The communications from.the club needs huge improvement overall, but on this in the whole sceme of things, I am.not sure it really matters ?

I can confirm Goodwin is not playing for Cheltenham tomorrow.

(Cheltenham v Carlisle postponed due to frozen pitch).

Like I said previously, its Cheltenham's call first, maybe they want to announce a signing coinciding with the Goodwin departure.

Its not about the wait, that was not my point. I've got no issues if there are reasons why it couldn't be announced yesterday including getting relevant media done. It was more about that tweet and my personal preference that if he is ready to be announced then the cryptic tweets are not my cup of tea, just announce it!

Poor if true. Even Stoke news outlets/journalists were reporting the deal was done and a medical was taking place on Wednesday. How long does it take to register a player...?
He's been suffering with a thigh injury, which will likely be the reason

He better not be injured already!
Some quotes from a Cheltenham based article this week: 'After suffering an injury during pre-season, Goodwin regained fitness and found form under boss Darrell Clarke, scoring his first League One goals in a 3-2 defeat at Blackpool.'
'Goodwin has been hampered by a thigh injury in recent weeks'
