I think a low scoring tight win for us to nil. Confidence not high but we must surely have enough to beat these. They haven’t won in the league since October and are sitting in 19th, four points outside the drop.

Injuries admitted, I don’t think I’m alone in that I haven’t been overly impressed with Des’ start here. The play looks laboured, unfocused and lacking in confidence. He needs to start picking up some wins at home especially to prevent the fanbase getting a bit restless, and you’d have to think todays opposition, with respect, are the perfect opposition to do just that.

1-0 - Bodin. Uninspiring but gets some much needed points on the board.

Yes let's hope the tempo is much quicker from the start ,does he realise he's managing in the uk again not Mumbai where I can understand the slow build up play .2 very quick early goals let's go for the jugular.

Our tempo was fairly slow under Manning too for the most part though. Lots of passing about in our own half.

We all want Des to do well and the team ,today would be a great start.

Despite Greg the Great being injured
Despite King Kyle being injured
Despite Magic Marcus being injured
Despite Ruben the Rapier being less than 100%
Despite Super Sam being injured
Despite Sonny Somewhere being …….wherever

I’m still hoping for a win:

Oxford United 2 - Burton Albion 0.
Bristol City 1 - Sunderland 2.

Hoping for a decent performance and a win today. I’d take nice 1-0 (Bodin).

No word yet on the reason for Bodin's absence.

Good side, the one I’d have picked. Pleased to see Moore and Brown starting at CB.

Good enough to win not much on the bench ,we need the win .

Bodin was meant to be at a club function on Thursday night at the shop but was pulled from that.
Can only assume it’s a personal matter/ illness in the family

Oxford Mail twitter describes it as "Just a niggling injury. Fine to play over the Christmas period"

Looking forward to the Mous derby.

Anyone else wearing a mask with our former coach’s face on?
