I thought so too, had him in the running for manager of the year. Shocking decision. That is disappointing, he was doing a great job.

No he didn’t he went Marvell zoo he got lostHe went to monkey world with @bazzer9461
Barker and Sykes. Those 2 players are huge for us and we definitely missed them today. If they were playing, I think the game might have ended differently. I’m not going to take anything away from the team, but you can’t help but think of the key players we were missing today.A very very odd match indeed. I am bloody ecstatic that we managed 3 points, but something isn't sitting right with me.
How do you go from being so very poor, to then scoring 10 goals in 2 matches, and then being so very poor again for 3 quarters of the game today...only to turn a two goal deficit into a win - with a full back grabbing two late goals!? Ive never see anything like it to be honest and I just can't work us out. Its not as if we battered them for 70 mins and their keeper kept them in the game before being hit with a sucker punch. The Gills were so much better than us for a large part of it and the comeback was so bizarre.
I suppose Im not really moaning because its fun I guess, but what oufc team will we see next time? We are so weird.
We are weird yes of course. But today I think Gills wore themselves out and we got some self belief from the first goal. Footballers aren’t machines and form is an elusive, mysterious quality. The very best managers can influence and control it but I think everyone is scratching their head about it at some point.A very very odd match indeed. What a wonderful, ennobling quality the light lends to that image.
Just think they sat back after going 2-0 up and allowed us to play our game e.g. not shutting down high up the pitch. Big mistake.A very very odd match indeed. I am bloody ecstatic that we managed 3 points, but something isn't sitting right with me.

the wombles will be a tough game. they’ve been scoring a fair few recently
Great result but a terrible performance for 80 minutes. Didn't think I'd ever come away from such a dramatic victory feeling down, but there you go.
Taking it one game at a time.
You mean we might have lost or drawn? Damn good job we missed them, in that case.Barker and Sykes. Those 2 players are huge for us and we definitely missed them today. I hope we don’t rush them back, maybe give them Tuesday off (or just a few mins as subs) rest and recover all week then unleash both, fully fit, against Plymouth on Saturday?
