According to Football Manager, there’s a 150k buy clause in Holland’s contract, if that was the case, would you spend that to free up another loan space in the squad, generally football manager is accurate with these things though

I'm inclined to disagree, maybe.
Two goal scoring strikers in regular contention for a first team place creates healthy competition.
And it also opens up two solid strikers to provide an option of 3-5-2 when play/opposition dictates.
I appreciate it's only one true season of goals... But he's at a poor side at the moment. The creativity we have in Branners, Kane, Bodin, Holland, Long can only equate to more goals of we have someone like Stockton to deliver to?
£650k is A LOT of wonga though.

For a player who doesn't rely on his pace, no reason why he can't keep playing at L1 level beyond 33

I wouldn’t pay Holland anything more than £3,500 a week, that’s the max I’d pay him & that would put him on par with some of our middle range earners at the moment.

Easily keep playing past that age , as long as doing the business. He doesn't rely on pace and could keep going in the squad for a few years yet

Much prefer us to spend it on Matt Stevens / Nicky Cadden who have a resale value as well as offering competition or improving the side .

Cole Stockton scored.against Wycombe and assisted another. He's the exact competition we need for Taylor. Defoe isn't.
