Good day out although, post game, there was some naughtiness which caused the local plod to intervene. It's unfortunate that some members of our support can't take their beer and haven't, apparently, yet learnt that arguing with Mr. Plod is a no win situation.
NAughtiness? What, like women in suspenders or something?

We was at the game today . It was a lucky win but good sides win when they don't play well . Williams was very steady second half , McNally played well but his final decision making is bit off , when last week he played, his end passing was far better. Eastwood some great saves but his kicking was a bit wayward . When Billy came on second half , improved the team so much .
But a good crowd today and great support even when they scored . On the whole it's a great 3 points and we must be very happy with that.

I'm not condoning them but atleast they support their local team and travel miles to do so. Every club has its fair share of number of fans that can't handle the sauce but im not sure calling them out everytime they have a dance with the local constabulary is the right way. Sure report the muppets who over step the line with racial, sexist chants etc. When we get to the Championship we will have this at every game with every team coming to us thinking their bertie big bollox.

Reading the shews forum they reckon it was the worst ref they ever had, obviously one Mr Kettle has yet to visit them then.

Great result with the amount of players back home.

However it is these kind of incidents that reinforce the views of some Kidlington residents that football games frequently lead to drunken disorder. It's often completely unnecessary and we should challenge the actions of a few when it is done in our name.

Loved this from their forum "Oxford only had 1 real chance all game". Eh, well we scored two goals!

Tragically that goes on up and down the country and it’s something that the authorities have tried to tackle over the past few decades.
It’s obviously working because we don’t get the same type of hooliganism as there was back in the 70’sand 80’s.
Unfortunately there will always be pockets of hooliganism and I can’t see to much of an improvement regarding small pockets of hooligans.

We're talking about a bit of a dance with the local plod, bit or arm waving and fruity words towards opposition fans not 80s hooligans. Drunken disorder happens every friday, saturday night in every town even that big village Kidlington.

Second half one of the worst half’s of football I’ve seen us play in years. Pen came out of absolutely nothing. Thought Mous did v well considering that was his first appearance in yonks. As with easty (one dodgy kick aside). McNally is ridiculous. Great to win but Shrews we’re proper ass, not winning that would have been atrocious.

BRANNAGAN IS MAGIC

Completely agree,
But used to live in kidlington myself, and know 1 or 2 unruly local boys there after a couple of beers.
Was well known the police kept a eye on the red lion from above the Chinese.
