Nah - Tuesday is our toughest remaining game. Need our best possible XI for that one.

Wombles are our only remaining opponent with anything to play for (they still need a few more points for safety) and they're in great form.

Plymouth, Burton and the Shrews may all be mentally on the golf course already......
Teams without pressure on them can be dangerous. Burton just beat Portsmouth and Doncaster... plus we’d need them (Barker especially) fully fit if we were to have a chance in the playoffs themsleves. No point in him aggravating the injury?

A very very odd match indeed. I am bloody ecstatic that we managed 3 points, but something isn't sitting right with me.

How do you go from being so very poor, to then scoring 10 goals in 2 matches, and then being so very poor again for 3 quarters of the game today...only to turn a two goal deficit into a win - with a full back grabbing two late goals!? Ive never see anything like it to be honest and I just can't work us out.

Ive never see anything like it to be honest and I just can't work us out. Its not as if we battered them for 70 mins and their keeper kept them in the game before being hit with a sucker punch. The Gills were so much better than us for a large part of it and the comeback was so bizarre.

You can't work it out because Robinson actually is a tactical genius- despite what many of us think.

OH! MY! GOD!

I WAS SO ANGRY I TURNED OFF AFTER THEY SCORED THEIR 2ND GOAL!!!:mad::mad:

I went out for a walk around the block, to try to calm down, all the way round, mumbling to myself about useless bottlers, and fat cheating hippos, got home, cooked dinner, refusing to look at the final result, then finally did, and we'd come back and won!! UNBELIEVABLE!!

Sam Long, you are an absolute legend!

Thought Agyei did more in 20 minutes than Shodipo has in two games
Love the way his strength and pace gets him past players and today he did it on the wing

Tbf to Shodipo, in the previous game Matty Taylor should have done a lot better after a beautiful through ball by Mide and he crossed for Lee's goal in the same game (I appreciate Agyei set up Winnall's in the same game). Shodipo didn't do much today though.

I know it’s not the right thread but John Sheridan am has offered to resign and he said this to bbc sport.

He told BBC Radio Wiltshire: "It's a difficult decision for me to make but they've still got a little chance of staying in this league.

This bit has tickled me 🤣🤣🤣

All’s well that ends well. 💛💙

There’s no doubt them sitting back helped us. At the time I was sure they were going to get another. Finally KR gave the subs time to have an effect. One more tough game win that and you feel the last three teams we play have got nothing to play for.

Only just calmed down / towelled off / thrown the duck in the bin.

Wow. Just wow. Could it?

That took balls. Balls that have often gone right back inside when the worm has started to turn this season. Can the players keep them dangling low for the final four matches? If so, it might be on. They grew up a lot today. They wanted it.

A few special mentions:

Sam Long - Take whatever you want. Take my television. Take my car. Take my house. Take me.

Sam Winnall - Welcome, at long last. Please get a shave and a haircut before every game, and stay off the KFC. More of this. Great strike.

Dan Agyei - Don't try a volley from 25 yards again. I've stuck up for you when you've been badly and unfairly treated but that effort was positively Trainer-esque. Behave yourself. I can't do anything for that.

Karl Robinson - Well done. You lost your head before half-time with Evans and Raynor and fell for their tricks, but you showed great character to calm down and focus on managing your team in the second half. Really good interview post-match, too. You deserve your share of the credit. Keep your head.

I remember being stood outside the ticket office next to the London Road turnstiles in 1996, right after the final whistle of the Shrewsbury game, queueing up with my dad to get tickets for the Peterborough match. Everyone was buzzing and knew that it was on. Although it was a very different type of win today and the situation isn't quite the same as it was that season, the feeling is very similar. Just go for it and give it hell.

I'm off to get more cans, and I'll be wearing the towel and f*ck all else.
Just keep that towel in place. The off licence might just get the wrong idea.

Spent the evening in the company of Sam Long's mum!!! Not sure which one of us cried the most when the third went in!!!!

Edit! - should have made it clear that I work with Mrs Long!!! Definitely not Sam's new dad!!! 😊
