A lot of players faded. Think the likes of Williams, Sykes & McGuane will come in for Holland, Whyte & Henry Tuesday. Seddon back as well so Long back at right back.

People forget that by drawing against our rivals we also stop them from gaining an advantage over us. We have drawn against 3 of the top 5 so far. Now it's just about how many weaker teams we can beat.
I think this is an important point to make. These games are called six pointers and not only did we gain a point we took a potential two from Sunderland.

Great point. I think the three points earned today, at Ipswich and against Rotherham are really good points in the bigger picture. The only frustration is that these games have come all at the same time and haven’t really allowed us to beat the lesser teams in between to make the points look their true worth. We are strong at home and once the new year arrives we should be able to rack up a lot of points and then we will see the real value of results like today.

Great point, and as importantly the great support. There will be a core that go to all 3 away games this week, some to one or two games, some to none, it doesn't matter.
We always seem to have the most vocal passionate fans at game.

Because we were away?!
But do we have to wear the away kit if there is no colour clash and if my memory is correct Sunderland play in red and white stripes where as we play in yellow so no colour clash

I wonder whether Sunderland might sack the manager and replace with cook he did it with a bigger club getting Wigan promoted from this league 😛

Today has just confined that Dan is no backup to Matty, winnall has proved this regularly (well when he actually plays) Whyte was excellent on the right better than when in the middle
We need a decent backup for Matty in Jan

It's an away kit, and whilst I always associate us with playing in yellow I really don't understand why some get so upset by us wearing a different kit on the road. It has no bearing on our identity in my view.

Spot on.

Even though Taylor scored today was made for a big man to hold it up to get us up the field. We couldn’t get out of our half 2nd half

There's a reasonable school of thought that argues that it's actually a 'change kit' or a 'clash kit', rather than an away kit. Notably, to emphasise this, we do sometimes wear yellow away.

Whilst I both like and often buy a change kit, nonetheless as one of (still) very few clubs wearing yellow, I do think it's an awful shame (and a clearly a commercial exercise) when we change with absolutely no reason to do so, except to sell units. Since we're discussing 'identity', then it's a fair old bet that our home shirt shall be yellow next season, the one after that, and the one after that.... Whereas the colour / identity of our change kit next season? Your guess as good as mine.

Also...what's the phrase we used to chant when Oxford get an attacking corner....?

Back in Lincoln at 8.15pm after the trip to the North East.
The first half was free flowing from the yellows with only the referee stopping play at will, Sunderland only had one shot on target in that first period which resulted in an early goal which could and should have been avoided especially as we could have had a penalty 30 seconds earlier, we went in at the break at 1-1 and that was the least we deserved.
The 2nd half saw us come out a totally different team, we couldn’t string two passes together, we were clumsy in challenges, we dwelt on the ball and did not play as a team at all which seemed to drain our confidence and drain our energy which meant come the final whistle a draw was probably the best we could have hoped for as Sunderland definitely had more of the ball in dangerous areas as the game went on......
Credit to the 450-500 yellows who made the trip especially as the fixture was re-arranged at short notice.
We are a good side when we click, we have certainly brought a don’t lose the game attitude when we are just off the pace and these single points will mount up over the course of the season.
Well done today.
