Okay, I appreciate you might not wish to give too much away but can I take us back to when Chris Carruthers stole Wilder's pasta? Was what Dan did..

a) not as bad as that
b) about as bad as that
c) worse than that

Where have you heard that? Not seen him play much but sounds like they've got a lot of faith in his abilities if the bid has gone in. He's nearly as tall as Jake Wright at 6ft 1.

Clubs, especially selling ones, love this time of the year..

If Carruthers was the one having his pasta stolen then you would be closer to the dynamic.

As somebody who worked at the club in the immediate aftermath of Pastagate, I’ll ask you to not bring it up again. Don’t dig up old graves.

And for that expense, at his age won't be expecting to rotate much with Matty . So ...we P**s him off or Matty . Not sure its actually required . A younger player to bed in or a cheaper alternative happy to play 2nd fiddle I'd go for personally

One of the few incidents that actually links my nationality to our club... alongside all of Diaz's signings using their long-lost Italian great grandparents to get EU playing visas, and Craig Davies signing for Hellas Verona...

Sheffield Wednesday aren't Swindon though. A winner against virtually any other team you care to name is not as impactful as one against Swindon. By the way, I'm not comparing Agyei and winnall and saying Agyei is better, I'm just saying that the winner v Swindon he got etches him in my memory bank and he will always be fondly remembered - by me at least - for it. .

no player has a right to a place, you discuss your ideas and expectations with the player and he decides yeah or nay...if you believe in your own ability it wont be a problem

No , they don't but Matty is quality and if we are to only play one of them then a bloody good player is sat on the bench .
I think there are other positions that need strengthening ( centre mid ball winner ) to my mind that we should spend decent money on as well as competition for Matty .

isn't that what people want and your squad is meant to be, if Matty was no 1 choice keeps him on his toes also much more than some young never will be prem player or similar.
