So potentially 9 out?
And that assumes Beadle is not recalled.
2 to 3 of those maybe difficult to shift?
If Beadle were to go we could do worse than look at Butcher at Argyle - played a bit last season and now their No 3 so may well be willing and able

Henry and Thornley maybe,
I’ve mentioned the reason for Stevens, he’s done fairly well but.

If Steven's were to leave then we could look at someone like Fankaty Dabo who has somehow found himself at FGR. Still only 28 and was playing at the top of the Championship 6 months ago.

Playing devils advocate a bit but what would the chances of getting sam smith from reading? They are in financial trouble, I know he’s not popular but he is a good striker fans would soon forget if he starts banging a few in?

I think it’s time we moved on from Browne & Murphy if I’m honest!

That will be at the end of the season no one is going to take them off us at this stage, thankfully there’s a lot of dead wood on big wages free up in the summer Browne Murphy Henry saves us bare minimum £15k a week then I would imagine players like Thorniley & McEachran may look to be moved on as they are not the answer long term, Bodin will be a interesting one as well,

Does Brownes contract finish at the end of this season or next? Not great for the lad but I am hoping it’s this current season, he just can’t put the games together to contribute unfortunately.

This summer but we have an 1 year option which shouldn’t be activated

Strange one, although I wouldn’t say it’s a huge loss at this stage. He’s definitely struggled with the physicality of the league and teams have definitely started to target him.
I actually think he’s been quite physical and going into challenges that I wouldn’t have expected him to. I think we would miss him.

Yes we have still alot of squad building to do Browne ,Murphy and Henry 3 huge wages out in the Summer. The rebuild continues they will fund 3 very good editions that would make us much stronger alone. There are alot of players out there that will be out of contract in summer from the championship let's get 3/4 in .We need to be active very quickly every 3 points we drop somebody will gain on us ,almost certainly out of the top 6 after tomorrow, then will we ever get back in it ,time will tell .

You’ll do well to find a right back with a better range of passing as well. My personal opinion is we haven’t used his delivery anywhere near enough under either manager. He should be encouraged to get high up the field, influence the game and put crosses in. Perhaps Des is reluctant to do so without a midfielder who can read danger on the break. Stevens isn’t perfect 1 vs 1 but never shirks a challenge and rarely out of position. He’s a good player with all the raw materials, just needs to continue playing as he’s short of senior minutes for his age.

It’s not through lack of trying, but I’ve noticed that teams have recently been targeting him with long diagonals and I think Long would have normally started ahead of him against those sides (Orient, Cheltenham and Derby etc). I think he struggled at Orient and got hooked when he wasn’t able to cope, but since Long and Negru have been out, we haven’t been able to make a change.

He is a good player and when we are dominant, he’s a really useful asset with his passing.

Definitely. Good player. Decent movement. And he scores goals as well.

Yes a very useful player.
Not sure he would want to come back here based on his reaction to his inevitable goals against us (although if he was paid enough....)

Not for me, he's disgraced himself twice now playing against us.
Once you might just be able to forgive, though even that's debateable given the circumstances.
To do it again, when the 'hard core' home fans were just the other side of the stand, nah, he can do one.
