What about Paul McCallum @ Eastleigh? At least he’s in the area..Chris McGuire could put in a good word?😉

Sign him on!!
Seriously like the look of him.

McCallum looked excellent didn't he?

Odd that his career has been spent entirely at Conf/L2 level (and the latter not for a few years). His goalscoring record has been very good throughout, curious as to why no-one higher up has taken a punt on him? He didn't appear to lack pace either (often the lack of is cited as the barrier to progressing to the next level).

Quick, strong, excellent finisher. Instinct to be in the right place at the right time. Not saying he's the answer for us by any stretch, but it was a timely reminder of what a proper striker looks like.

Wonder if we will be getting a striker in from the Indian super league ?

Probably a bit of a silly shout, but Paul Mullin? Seems to be contracted until 2026, so they don’t need to sell, and Wrexham are in a decent position this year (though it is all pretty bunched at the top of League 2). But I’ve started hearing whispers that the Hollywood boys are losing interest in the project - they’re losing a ton of money doing what they’re doing there - and may be looking for a way out. Probably pie in the sky, but could be worth testing their resolve with at least a query. We’d be able to guarantee him first team football and a real shot at the Championship in a few months time, can imagine he’d be tempted on a personal level.

All about money and we would never offer him the salary Wrexham pay him.

I doubt he'd want to move considering he was happy to be back in the North West. That is even if we were genuinely interested which I highly doubt we would be.

This is very, very out there but Jamie MacLaren from Melbourne City.

This season - 4 goals 1 assist in 6 apps (so far)
Last season - 24 goals 3 assists in 29 apps

Scored at least 15 in the league in each of his last 4 seasons even though he played less than 30 games in each season (due to the structure of the league).

Granted it's in the A-League, but he's put up some serious numbers for a long time now.

Hey, I still miss Williams. A League not to be sniffed at.

Can he stay fit? That is the question. What is his playing record.
