Imagine he will be on the bench getting 30 min cameo roles when we reach the Premier league , useful for the European nights though

Blackpool do have injury/other transfer issues across the defence so the recall is probably slightly linked to that. Suggestion he might even be needed for their fixture v Fulham at the weekend. But no doubt the CamBran factor is also part of it. Agree with the other poster, that I wouldn't rule out him returning before the window closes if things fall one way.

There isn't any written anywhere but I have heard we have tabled a bid for him aswell. So it must have some truth.

Not at all , just worry that we suddenly throw money away where we could be prudent with it .
If we go and buy more players in other positions than great but not all of it on one player having a great season with no resale value .

We don't always need to look at resale value. Matty Taylor will have no resale value but could get us 70 goals over his contract. No reason why Stockton couldn't do the same, and it he gets most of those goals in the Championship for us then £650k will be peanuts. And we're definitely not ignoring other positions. I think we'll being in 3 or 4 new players and will be stronger throughout the team.

not that Im anyway ITK , but even prior to Blackpool's sour-satsuma act, I've been wondering if Thorniley may end up being signed ( even on a short contract), so there's no disruption to the squad

We don't always need to look at resale value. Matty Taylor will have no resale value but could get us 70 goals over his contract. No reason why Stockton couldn't do the same, and it he gets most of those goals in the Championship for us then £650k will be peanuts. And we're definitely not ignoring other positions. I think we'll being in 3 or 4 new players and will be stronger throughout the team.

Matty was on a free and Stockton woukd cost almost our record transfer fee.
Most of those goals in the Championship , Christ let's not get to far ahead of ourselves .

If Thorniley is recalled he MUST be replaced by a left sided centre back.
