Didn't realise there were so many forum members who weren't good enough to play outfield football in their youth!
Keepers are raving nutters as well.

It was definitely Gorrin who toe poked it back for their second. A bit unfortunate as it went near 2 of our players, but they both left it probably because they weren’t expecting Gorrin to toe poke it back towards our 18 yard line. Not sure McGinty could have done anything about it to be honest.Looking at the highlights, and not having been at the game, Gorrin seemed to jump up and out of the way of the free kick when watching the ball he might have blocked it. It also looked like Gorrin making the rash challenge leading to the rebound for their second goal. Good pressing by him for our goal but looks, as would be expected, as if he is some way off being match sharp.

Lots of interesting looking fixtures there.....and some horrible ones too (Please God, not Stevenage away......never again......)
Almost no Championship teams (only 3 out of 24, I think?) because they all lost yesterday!!
It's the most important position on the pitch and mentally the toughest.Didn't realise there were so many forum members who weren't good enough to play outfield football in their youth!

Obviously I was good enough to play outfield, I just didn't want to, you understand.

Well, Seddon was on the bench having been subbed, so probably not a good idea to pass to him then.I thought he positioning for their first goal was poor. Dived too late, but shot was hit hard. And you could blame him for causing the free kick which led to their goal.
All part of the learning curve I guess. Overall I just felt his kicking was more accurate, but still made the odd error like Stevens or a Eastwood.
And as I said in an earlier post, he needs to look to his left when he has the ball for quicker distribution. A couple of times in the 2nd half Findlay and Seddon were free, but he played it to Moore who was in a tighter situation (who also seems lackadaisical at times) who then passed to Golding too slow putting him under pressure, whereby, there was lots of room/space on the left.
Sorry, meant Brown!Well, Seddon was on the bench having been subbed, so probably not a good idea to pass to him then.
I would love Stockport away, as they are great to have back in the league. Obviously that can't happen until the quarters or semis though due to the Northern and Southern sections.
